When is the best time to prune? (now)

The best time to prune trees is during the dormant period, usually in late winter, before new growth begins. Fruiting trees in particular benefit from pruning during the months of February and March. As this has an invigorating effect on the tree growth producing higher quality fruit. Trimming away dead or diseased branches should be removed as soon as possible. We highly recommend an annual autumn trimming of all trees to remove dead or dying branches before the winter storms begin.
